Dr Garner is originally from Pennsylvania but has lived all over including Connecticut, South Carolina, New Hampshire, and Scotland.
She graduated from Delaware Valley University in Pennsylvania with a degree in Animal Science with a specialty in equine reproduction in 2011. She then went on to obtain her veterinary degree from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland in 2016. Following graduation she completed a 1 year internship at Myhre Equine Clinic in New Hampshire. Since graduation she has worked in a wide variety of clinics including mixed animal general practice, small animal general practice and emergency medicine. She had special clinical interests in soft tissue surgery, preventative medicine, giant breed dogs and geriatric medicine.
During her free time Dr Garner enjoys spending time with her husband Ben, 3 dogs (Finley, Fuego, and Freija) and her cat (Lucy). Her hobbies include photography, camping, hiking, horseback riding and really anything that will get her outdoors!
