Dr. Amanda Hoffman is originally from Maryland and received her doctorate from Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine (Go Hokies!).
Her husband’s career in the Army has taken them to New York, Kansas, and now back to Virginia. They, along with their 4 Dalmatians, 2 senior cats and Paint horse are ecstatic to be back on the East Coast!
With every move, each new clinic and team have provided Dr. Hoffman with the amazing opportunity to learn and grow as a small animal clinician. She is excited to get to know the Springfield family and to share her passions for fear free based patient care, soft tissue surgery, and exotics and urgent care medicine.
In her spare time, Dr. Hoffman is likely lounging at home with the spotted dogs, loving on her horse at the barn, or exploring the town with her husband looking for great new restaurants!
