About Us!

  Springfield Veterinary Center is a full service veterinary facility established in July 2000 by Dr. Steve Escobar.  We offer full medical diagnosis and treatment, pharmacy, dental, surgical, emergency care, and x-ray services, including OFA and Penn Hip.  We are pleased to offer our Canine Reproductive Center at Springfield Vet.  Dr. Escobar and Dr. Kolster perform remote canine semen freezing and utilizes the services of Create Labs at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va.  They also perform artificial inseminations, surgical artificial inseminations and progesterone timing as well as ultrasounds to determine pregnancy.  Dr. Chris Scotti joined our practice in April 2002 and previously worked for 7 years with Dr. Escobar.  Dr. Scotti initiated and established the Penn Hip protocol for Broad St. Veterinary Hospital.

  The staff of Springfield Veterinary Center is proud to offer the most modern and personable veterinary service to Glen Allen and surrounding areas.  Located just north of Broad Street at the corner of Gaskins Road and Springfield Road our facilities are easily accessible and just three minutes from Interstate 64 (Gaskins Road North exit).
